Destiny Jones
jones2015 graduate, Destiny Jones, cares for service members and their families in Japan as a Labor and Delivery Nurse for the Air Force.
Luke and Caroline Scott
ScottHigh school sweethearts Luke and Caroline (Davis) Scott graduated from Brighton High School in 2014. He is an aircraft mechanic at FedEx and she is a registered nurse in the recovery room at Methodist Germantown Hospital. 
Courtney Perry
2002 CHS graduate, Courtney Perry, completed assignments in MO, TX, KY, SC, VA, OH, AL, MS, and Germany as part of his Army career. He lives in Waco, TX, and now serves an an Army recruiter. He is a certified Combative’s Instructor and a Master Resiliency Trainer. He recently completed an Associates of Science in Business Management from Post University.
Marilynn Wright Andrews
wrightMarilynn Wright Andrews is a Munford High School graduate and serves in the field of Training and Development.  Marilynn is a graduate of the University of Memphis and currently seeking a Ph.D. in Instructional Design and Technology.  Marilynn has served as a statewide Training Specialist with TECTA and as a Site Manager with Porter Leath.  Most recently, Marilynn has served as Director of Core Development with the MMBC Continuum.  
Matt Little
mattMatt Little, a 2003 BHS graduate, served overseas as a Marine and then earned a degree from Wyotech in PA in high performance automotive. He currently works in maintenance at Unilever and runs the Tipton County chapter of Ducks Unlimited

My Motivation: When I leave this world, I want people to remember how I made a difference in our community. I want my community to remember that I did my absolute best to be humble, kind, and considerate to everyone. I want people to see the light that shines in me and know that it was God that glowed within me.
My Career Path: Real Estate
Why: I want people to achieve their dreams of owning a home for themselves and for their children and their children's children. Back then we would all meet over to Grandma's house every Sunday for Sunday dinner and we all had the best time. I want us to be able to go back to those days of having a home to meet at every Sunday for food, fun, and fellowship with your loved ones.

Michael Armour, Associates degree, General studies, DSCC, with honors. Attending UT-Martin, Civil Engineering; UT Alumni Council. Michael has had Type I Diabetes since 14 years old. (He also scored the highest of his brothers on the ACT!)
Dr. Cynthia Davis

Dr. Cynthia has spent her entire life serving others in various capacities. For 24 years she served as a nurse, nurse manager and nurse educator in trauma and surgical units, cardiovascular intensive care units and recovery rooms. She served students as a college counselor, freshmen experience faculty and test taking specialist. Later she guided applicants and students as the Manager of Admissions and Retention.


After hearing the call of God to serve in a different capacity, she pastored Friendship United Methodist Church and was asked by Bishop Wills to serve on the Memphis Cabinet as the McKendree District Superintendent. After five years of faithful service she then became the Senior Associate Pastor and Executive Director of Congregational Care at Christ United Methodist Church. Bishop McAlilly then called Cynthia to come back on the Cabinet to serve as the Mississippi River District Superintendent.


Cynthia received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Mississippi (Jackson, MS), her Master of Science in Counseling from the University of Memphis (Memphis, TN), and her Doctor of Ministry Degree from United Theological Seminary (Dayton, OH). Her focus group was The Black Church and Public Health and her dissertation is entitled, Promoting Healthy Dietary Lifestyles to Prevent Obesity in African American Adolescents.


Cynthia has received awards too numerous to name and actively participates on various agencies and boards. She has presented extensively in local and national workshops, seminars and conventions.


Cynthia and her husband, Dr. Elvernice “Sonny” Davis have four children and two grandsons, Jalen and Blake.




Jere Mason
Jere Mason was born and raised in Covington, TN. He attended Crestview Elementary, Crestview Middle School (Crestview Gent Alum), and graduated from Covington High School in 1997. He has trained in martial arts since the age of 6 which led to his selection to the U.S. Taekwondo Team in 1997. While on that team he traveled to South Korea, China, and even North Korea representing the United States in martial arts competitions and exhibitions. He has owned and operated Mason's High Octane Martial Arts since 2000 in Covington.
Mr. Mason worked for the Tipton County Sheriff's Office for 12 years as a deputy in the patrol, training, and SWAT divisions. He has a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice Cum Laude, a Masters of Business Administration, and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Memphis School of Law. He is a practicing "Kickin' Lawyer" with HMRS Attorneys with offices in Covington and Somerville. Additionally, Mr. Mason has ownership interest in several other local compaines including Java Bombs, LLC, Covington Comic Con, BAJRS Laser Solutions, LLC, and The Cellar Prohibition Bar and Restuarant. He also hosts a podcast, "Law Talk", available across platforms. 
He and his wife, Madalyn, still live in Covington with their (almost) all adult children, three dogs, and minipig, Whiskey the Law Hog. 
Beunca Logan
logan2009 ⁦graduate, Beunca Logan, received her BA in Social Work from U of M and then her MA from Union University. She currently works as a Supervisor for the TN Office of Juvenile Justice. 
Walt Downing
Downing2012 graduate, Walt Downing, is a Loan Specialist for the United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development. Based in Jackson, Walt provides financial assistance and grants to entities throughout West TN.
Chanteil Edwards
edwards⁦2013 graduate, Chanteil Edwards, went on to obtain her Administrative Office Technology Diploma from TCAT Covington. Currently, Chanteil works for Baptist Tipton as an Administrator Representative. 
Christopher Lark
Christopher is a 2003 TCS graduate and the first in his family to graduate from a 4-year college.

He owns his own production Filming Company and is a private real estate investor. Christopher is one of the top directors in the tri-state area and was recently honored by his alma mater for recognition as a stand out graduate

Sheila Jackson-West
1998 graduate of Covington High School.
"I am a registered nurse working in the ER at the Memphis VA Medical Center. In 2019, I received a master’s degree in nursing from Capella University studying Nursing Education and Diabetes Education. Currently, I am pursuing a DNP (Doctor of Nursing Practice) degree at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with graduation set for May 2023."
O'Keith Jones
picture1990 graduate, O’Keith Jones, is a Licensed Agent developing a practice with the New York Life Insurance Company. His next goal is to become a Registered Representative for the company as well.
Benton Lindsey
benton1996 graduate, Benton Lindsey, is a DSCC and University of Memphis alum. He currently serves our community as the Vice President/Loan Officer at Patriot Bank in Covington.
Justice Young
pic2013 graduate, Justice Young, received her BA in Health Science from Tennessee State with a minor in Psychology, and currently works with Overton High in Nashville as a Behavior Academic Specialist.
James Fields

"I am an Army Captain currently assigned to the Multi-Domain Effects Battalion as a Space Operations Officer within the Space Company as team crew chief. In 2020 I departed my previous assignment in Okinawa. There I was a part of the 78th Signal Battalion, as an Operations officer for the Large SATCOM Gateway (LSG), Executive officer and Commander of the Network Enterprise Center – Okinawa, as well as the assistant S3 for Battalion operations. I was fortunate enough to gain real world experience working at the LSG supporting multiple communications missions for the joint force across INDOPACOM.


I was born in Detroit Michigan but grew up and received my high school diploma at Covington High School in Covington, Tennessee and went on to receive my B.S from Austin Peay State University. My wife Constance Eaton currently resides with me in Washington. We have one puppy, Kibou Fields, who keeps us on our toes daily between work. I am currently working to become competitive for a master’s degree in Space Studies with potential to be accepted into a program that allows me to train with industry."




David Dowell
dowellTCS graduate, David Dowell, is an associate for Flexport, a tech company specializing in freight forwarding, customs brokerage, & supply chain management. He was recently appointed Global Operations Manager at DB Schenker. He is based in Atlanta, GA.
Sam Daniel
Sam Daniel is a Landscape Architect. He graduated from
Covington High School in 2015 and from The University of Tennessee majoring in plant sciences in 2019. He received a Master of Landscape Architecture from The University of Tennessee School of Architecture in 2022 and delivered the Commencement address.
He is a designer and planner with Design Workshop, an award winning, international landscape architecture firm based in Aspen, Co.
Laura Dawson
1997 Covington High graduate Laura Dawson, earned degrees from both The University of Memphis and UT Memphis. She has been an Occupational Therapist for 21 years. She currently works for Methodist North Hospital.  
Andria Wright Mackey
andria1999 ⁦graduate Andria (Wright) Mackey received her BA in Psychology & MS in Organizational Leadership from Belhaven University. She is currently the HR - LoA Coordinator at St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
Tequila Rose
rose1999 ⁦graduate, Tequila Rose, is an Implementation Manager for Censis Technologies and also the owner of her own catering company, Inherited Flavors. 
Nathan Yoder
Nathan Yoder graduated from BHS IN 2015. He went to UT Martin and then University of Arkansas Medical School for his doctorate.   He currently serves as a doctor at Dynamix Physical Therapy Clinic in Covington. 
Erin Blackley
erinOur #endlesspossibilities continue with Ms Erin Blackley. Erin is a 2014 ⁦graduate who, after receiving her BBA in Accounting from U of M, now works as a Tax Accountant for AutoZone Corporate in Memphis. We are proud of you, Erin! 
TeNeal Clark
Clark2010 ⁦graduate, TeNeal Clark, went on to get her BS in Psychology (MTSU) & her MEd in School Counseling (FHU). TeNeal now works as a School Counselor in Shelby County.
Victoria Sherrill West
pic20008 graduate Victoria Sherrill West, MBA is employed at the UT Health Science Center. Victoria currently serves as the Program Coordinator for the Pediatric Critical, Endocrinology, and Allergy/Immunology programs.
Joe Little
Little2006 graduate, Joseph Little, finishes off our week of #endlesspossibilities. After working at Kroger for a number of years (if you shop at Kroger, you surely recognize that smile), Joe now works as a CDC Assistant at Brighton Middle School.
Brittany Fields

2012 Graduate from BHS; 2016 Graduate from UT Martin with Bachelor of Science degree; Brittany work for Google doing the business process of Legal Operations in Southaven MS.


















Taerion J. Young

Taerion Young is a Covington High School graduate of 2018 . From there he attended Diesel Mechanic School and graduated in 2019. He worked at Munford Tire for 2 years. As of 2022, Taerion has enlisted in the United States Marine Corp where he will serve as an  Aviation Mechanic.  



















Zayla Adair
zaylaOur #endlesspossibilities continue with Munford Police Officer and 2015 graduate, Zayla Adair. Zayla also works part-time at Baptist Tipton Hospital and attends college part-time where she is pursuing a degree in psychology.
Carson Ruffin
Carson graduated 2021 from CHS - he attended North American Lineman Center in McEwen, TN August-December of 2021. He is now working for Southwest Electric.
Baker McCool
baker1998 ⁦TCS graduate, Baker McCool, is another great example of #endlesspossibilities  Baker’s professional experience includes landscape design, business ownership, Firefighter/EMS training, and more. He currently serves as the EMS Program Director for DSCC.
Kyla Taylor
Kyla Taylor is MHS 2016 grad. She completed her master’s degree in May. She recently accepted a job as a Speech-Language Pathologist, Clinical Fellow with Synaptic Pediatric Therapies in Dallas, TX. She’s working with children and adults diagnosed with a variety of communication disorders. 
Holly Glass
2002 Covington High School graduate, Holly Glass, is a Senior Fixed Income Trader and Team Leader at Truist Investment Services, Inc. She currently resides in Charlotte, NC with her husband and dog, Oscar. She enjoys traveling in her free time, having visited Turkey, Maldives, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, and Hawaii just to name a few. 
Tonya Dyson
TCS graduate, Tonya Dyson, is a soul singer/songwriter, serial entrepreneur, music activist, radio personality on WYXR, and executive director of the Memphis Slim Collaboratorya house to give current & future generations of musicians a place to gather, rehearse, learn, and create legendary music again.   With nearly 20 years in music promotion and event marketing experience, Tonya has been a driving force in the Memphis music scene producing shows featuring Corinne Bailey Rae, Robert Glasper, Ledisi, Bilal, and more in addition to serving as "curator-at-large" for an impressive list of clients. This experience led to Tonya creating some of the city's major music staples- the Soulsville USA Festival and Soulin' on the River.
