2012 Tipton County Schools graduate, Laura Jeffords, completed her Birth worker training at the Harbor Birth Institute in Nashville. She is a doula that helps pregnant women all over West Tennessee have safer, faster, more enjoyable births.
Will Joyner is a proud 2011 Tipton County Schools graduate. After graduation, he attended Tennessee College of Applied Technology in Covington and then McKenzie, TN. Will is passionate about his career and is currently a HVAC Commercial Technician at Roscoe Brown, Inc. in Murfreesboro, TN.
2013 Tipton County Schools graduate, Hadley Wilkins, received her BS in Nursing at East Texas Baptist University. She currently works as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Methodist Lebonheur.
1994 graduate from CHS, Holly has been certified through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board since 2001. She worked as pharmacy tech at Baptist Hospital Tipton before becoming a Pharmacy Tech at Doc’s Hometown Pharmacy in Covington.
2016 CHS graduate, Bailee Moss, attended the University of Memphis where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is employed at Lebonheur Children’s Hospital in the Emergency Department, which is a level one trauma center for pediatric patients.
2018 TCS graduate, Mariah Rose, graduated from The Clark Atlanta University with a Bachelors in Business Administration and a concentration in marketing. She now works for the Memphis Grizzlies as a Ticket Sales Representative!
Chandler Kirchoff graduated from Munford High in 2008. He started working at Kroger in Atoka when it opened in October 2006 as a courtesy clerk. He is now one of the assistant store managers there. He is currently serving as the interim store manager.
Dr. Cynthia has spent her entire life serving others in various capacities. For 24 years she served as a nurse, nurse manager and nurse educator in trauma and surgical units, cardiovascular intensive care units and recovery rooms. She served students as a college counselor, freshmen experience faculty and test taking specialist. Later she guided applicants and students as the Manager of Admissions and Retention.
After hearing the call of God to serve in a different capacity, she pastored Friendship United Methodist Church and was asked by Bishop Wills to serve on the Memphis Cabinet as the McKendree District Superintendent. After five years of faithful service she then became the Senior Associate Pastor and Executive Director of Congregational Care at Christ United Methodist Church. Bishop McAlilly then called Cynthia to come back on the Cabinet to serve as the Mississippi River District Superintendent.
Cynthia received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Mississippi (Jackson, MS), her Master of Science in Counseling from the University of Memphis (Memphis, TN), and her Doctor of Ministry Degree from United Theological Seminary (Dayton, OH). Her focus group was The Black Church and Public Health and her dissertation is entitled, Promoting Healthy Dietary Lifestyles to Prevent Obesity in African American Adolescents.
Cynthia has received awards too numerous to name and actively participates on various agencies and boards. She has presented extensively in local and national workshops, seminars and conventions.
Cynthia and her husband, Dr. Elvernice “Sonny” Davis have four children and two grandsons, Jalen and Blake.

"I am an Army Captain currently assigned to the Multi-Domain Effects Battalion as a Space Operations Officer within the Space Company as team crew chief. In 2020 I departed my previous assignment in Okinawa. There I was a part of the 78th Signal Battalion, as an Operations officer for the Large SATCOM Gateway (LSG), Executive officer and Commander of the Network Enterprise Center – Okinawa, as well as the assistant S3 for Battalion operations. I was fortunate enough to gain real world experience working at the LSG supporting multiple communications missions for the joint force across INDOPACOM.
I was born in Detroit Michigan but grew up and received my high school diploma at Covington High School in Covington, Tennessee and went on to receive my B.S from Austin Peay State University. My wife Constance Eaton currently resides with me in Washington. We have one puppy, Kibou Fields, who keeps us on our toes daily between work. I am currently working to become competitive for a master’s degree in Space Studies with potential to be accepted into a program that allows me to train with industry."
Sam Daniel is a Landscape Architect. He graduated fromCovington High School in 2015 and from The University of Tennessee majoring in plant sciences in 2019. He received a Master of Landscape Architecture from The University of Tennessee School of Architecture in 2022 and delivered the Commencement address.He is a designer and planner with Design Workshop, an award winning, international landscape architecture firm based in Aspen, Co.
1997 Covington High graduate Laura Dawson, earned degrees from both The University of Memphis and UT Memphis. She has been an Occupational Therapist for 21 years. She currently works for Methodist North Hospital.
Nathan Yoder graduated from BHS IN 2015. He went to UT Martin and then University of Arkansas Medical School for his doctorate. He currently serves as a doctor at Dynamix Physical Therapy Clinic in Covington.

Taerion Young is a Covington High School graduate of 2018 . From there he attended Diesel Mechanic School and graduated in 2019. He worked at Munford Tire for 2 years. As of 2022, Taerion has enlisted in the United States Marine Corp where he will serve as an Aviation Mechanic.
Carson graduated 2021 from CHS - he attended North American Lineman Center in McEwen, TN August-December of 2021. He is now working for Southwest Electric.
Kyla Taylor is MHS 2016 grad. She completed her master’s degree in May. She recently accepted a job as a Speech-Language Pathologist, Clinical Fellow with Synaptic Pediatric Therapies in Dallas, TX. She’s working with children and adults diagnosed with a variety of communication disorders.
2002 Covington High School graduate, Holly Glass, is a Senior Fixed Income Trader and Team Leader at Truist Investment Services, Inc. She currently resides in Charlotte, NC with her husband and dog, Oscar. She enjoys traveling in her free time, having visited Turkey, Maldives, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, and Hawaii just to name a few.
TCS graduate, Tonya Dyson, is a soul singer/songwriter, serial entrepreneur, music activist, radio personality on WYXR, and executive director of the Memphis Slim Collaboratory- a house to give current & future generations of musicians a place to gather, rehearse, learn, and create legendary music again. With nearly 20 years in music promotion and event marketing experience, Tonya has been a driving force in the Memphis music scene producing shows featuring Corinne Bailey Rae, Robert Glasper, Ledisi, Bilal, and more in addition to serving as "curator-at-large" for an impressive list of clients. This experience led to Tonya creating some of the city's major music staples- the Soulsville USA Festival and Soulin' on the River.
