A Day in the Life of a Tipton County Student...
When the morning alarm clock rings in Tipton County, one out of every five residents prepares to attend one of fourteen public schools. Visit one of our outstanding schools across the district and you will find students engaged in general academic and career and technical classes. High school students may be studying calculus, growing hydroponic lettuce or watching a tracheotomy on an iPad. An elementary student will be found in a reading group or in computer assisted instruction. A trip to the gym will make you tired as you watch our students develop and grow. Catch one of our middle school engineering clubs or review your Algebra skills in an 8th grade class. You will find our musically talented students participating in music class or in one of our award winning bands. Be sure to stop in and see an art exhibit too! If your visit is on a Friday night in the fall, the noise, the laughter and the music are probably coming from the football stadium. It means the team is playing at home tonight. Follow the traffic to the stadium and join the fun!
