Medical News

During this time of a higher than normal absentee rate and any time you need to do the following:
sneeze/cough into the bend of your elbow, not your hand
use soap/water or hand sanitizer frequently
stay away from school/work until one has been fever free for 24 hrs w/o the use of medicines
do not eat/drink after anyone

We will no longer be using K-12 Planet. We have a new system that will be more efficient and user friendly. We will let you know as soon as it is up and running.

Try-Outs for Sports

MUST HAVE PHYSICAL BEFORE TRYING OUT FOR ANY SPORTS TEAM AT MMS

It is imperative that students know how they are getting home on days we close early due to inclimate weather or other unforseen circumstances. When the TV stations are predicting inclimate weather that may arrive after school starts, let your students know before they leave the house if they are to ride the bus home or if they will be a car rider in the event of early school closing.
Planning ahead helps MMS to be more efficient in the dismissal process.

Cars should not be parking off of the road down from the school to pick up students who are walking home. All cars should stay in line and pick up students in back of the school. Cars parking off the road create a safety concern for walkers and traffic.

Please tell your students that walk home in the afternoon to stay on the sidewalk and not to go across the hill in the wooded area.
