Cougar Football Coaching Staff
Head Coach
Wayne Randall
 |
Coach
Wayne Randall is in his 34rd year of coaching and in his 2nd year
of coaching at
Munford High School. For the past 18 years,
Randall has coached, developed, and
mentored young men in Memphis
City Schools and is widely known for his trips to the state
playoffs and state championships in both football and track.
After Randall received his B.S.
degree from Mississippi State
University in Physical Education and Athletics, he immediately
began coaching and teaching in Mississippi, and later
Arkansas. His most recent
accomplishments have been at East
High School in Memphis, where he spent the last 14
years.
Coach Randall is married to Carolyn, a Special Education teacher
at American Way
Middle School in Memphis, and has five grown

Assistant Coaches
Jason Johnson, Ronald Landau,
Michael Norwood, Keith Setler, Jason Johnson, Zach Lowery, and Bobby Wilson

Coach Ronnie
Landau is the man behind the strength of Cougar Football. He
serves as an
Assistant Coach with the direct responsibility for
strength coaching. Coach Landau graduate
d from the
University of Texas at Austin with a B.A. in Philosophy and
History and is married to
Alisa. |

Coach Mike
Norwood is in his first year at MHS and serves as the quarterback
coach and
offensive coordinator. He received his B.S. degree
in Physical Education and Health from
Lambuth University and
currently teaches Wellness at Munford High. |

Coach Keith
Setler, a University of Memphis graduate and Tiger Football
letterman, is also in
his first year at Munford High School.
Coach Setler is the Defensive Coordinator. After playing
under Coach Chuck Stobart and Coach Rip Scherer, and serving as
co-captain during his
senior season, Coach Setler returned to his
alma mater, Kirby High School, to serve as the
Offensive and
Defensive Line Coach. In 2004, he became the Head Coach at
Kirby High
School, but elected to move the following year to East
High under the leadership of Coach
Randall. His move paid
off as he and Coach Randall's staff led the Mustangs to the State
p
layoffs. Coach Setler's wife, Callie, is a substitute
teacher in Tipton County. They have two
children, Jordan and
Kyla. His opinion on Munford High School is "we're
totally excited to
be here!" |

Coach
Jason Johnson is in his first year at Munford High School and is
serving as Freshman
Coordinator and Varsity Football Assistant along with carrying out his scouting
responsibilities. Coach Johnson played football for MHS from
95-98 before playing two years at the University of North
Alabama. He then graduated form Union University with a
B.S.B.A in Strategic Marketing.

Coach
Zack Lowery is in his first year as Assistant Football Coach and
also serves as Assistant
Freshman Coach along with carrying out his scouting responsibilities.
Coach Lowery played
baseball for MHS from 2000-2003. He then graduated from
Union University with a B.S. in
Psychology. |

Coach
Bobby Wilson has served as the MHS Special Teams Coach for 6
years. He also serves as
Assistant Softball Coach for the Lady Cougar Softball Team.
Coach Wilson is a 1983 graduate of
Brighton High School and has assisted Cougar sports at
Munford High School in a variety of
capacities for many years. He attended Lambuth College and
is married to Penny Wilson.
He has three children, Latisha, Cody, and Cali, and one
granddaughter, Rylee. |
