| Course Name: Exploration
of Marketing and Management Prerequisites: Organizational Leadership Semesters: 1 Credits: 1/2 Grade: 10 Exploration of Marketing and Management is an introductory course for students interested in a career in marketing or management. Classroom instruction includes distinguishing types of businesses that market goods and services as well as examining the strengths and weaknesses of interpersonal skills of individuals preparing for a career in business. Course Name: Marketing
I Marketing I is an instructional program for students interested in marketing, business and management careers. Classroom instruction includes career orientation, job application, communication, human relations, credit, merchandising, mathematics, cashier checker, sales promotion, advertising, selling, basic marketing concepts, job interviews and resumes. Credit in this course may count as the required 1/2 credit in economics. Course Name: Marketing II Marketing II continues the study if the concepts begun in the first year. It includes the study of marketing foundations and career development, economic fundamentals and procedures, and management and communication skills. Students will have hands-on experience. Course Name: Organizational LeadershipPrerequisites: None Semesters: 1 Credits: 1/2 Grade: 11 Organizational Leadership examines methods for developing teamwork and the importance of training programs as well as techniques for problem-solving. Management techniques will be identified and the assessment of the importance of effective communication will be enhanced. |
