Course Name: Driver's
Education
Prerequisites: 15 years old
Semesters: 30 hours instruction and 6 hours driving time
Credits: 1/2
Grade: 9-12
This course is offered only on a tuition basis and meets after school and/or
on Saturdays, and is completed in the summer. The program meets state
requirements for thirty hours instruction and six hours driving or driving
simulation. Therefore, students are eligible to receive 1/2 credit which
will count as an elective course toward the required 24 credits for
graduation. The grade will be recorded on the student's official transcript.
The course begins in early spring. Announcements as to the registration,
course beginning date and costs will be made at the appropriate time.
