Darry Marshall, Principal

Darry Marshall has been the Principal at Munford High School since 2002.  He earned his Education Specialist degree from the University of Memphis in 1996 and also holds a Master of Arts degree from Louisiana Tech University.  Mr. Marshall completed his undergraduate studies at Oauchita Baptist University while earning a B.S.E. in 1980.  

Mr. Marshall began his educational career in 1980 as a graduate assistant at Louisiana Tech and has 26 years in the field.  Before becoming principal at MHS, he served as a teacher and football coach for 22 years.  Mr. Marshall was named Nike Arkansas Coach of the Year after winning the 5A State Championship in 1999 at Northside High School in Fort Smith.  Mr. Marshall was also the head coach at Munford High from 1995-1998, leading the Cougars to the State Championship game in 1997. 

Mr. Marshall is married to Debbie, a teacher at Covington Integrated Arts Academy.  They have two children, Amber, an Internal Auditor, who is married and living in Johnson City, Tennessee, and Aaron, who is following in his father's footsteps as a teacher/coach at Munford Middle School.

Assistant Principals

Sharon Iviehas been at Munford High School since 2001.  She began her experience at MHS as a teacher of ACT Preparation and Study Skills and quickly moved up the ranks to Assistant Principal.  Before arriving at MHS, Dr. Ivie served as Principal at North Pemiscot County High School in Missouri.  Her teaching experience in the Missouri school system spans 24 years. Dr. Ivie received a Master of Arts in Educational Administration from Southeast Missouri State University and has received her Doctoral degree in Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Memphis.  She completed the Leadership Scholars Program, an intense training program for school leaders.  Dr. Ivie speaks with a smile when she talks about her favorite things at Munford High School, "the students, faculty, staff, and administration are all wonderful."  Dr. Ivie is married to Bernard Ivie, and they have three children, Jennifer, Conrad, and Cole,  and four grandchildren, Kearsten, Kalum, Karson, and Keaton.  

Marcus Heaston, is in his 3rd year at Munford High School and his 6th year in administration.  This lifelong resident of Tipton County served as Assistant Principal at Crestview Elementary and has also taught at Munford Middle School.  He earned his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin and his Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Trevecca Nazarene University.  Mr. Heaston is responsible for discipline at MHS as well as textbooks and facilities management .  He is married to Alishia Heaston, an occupational therapist.  They are the proud parents of Sean Ellis, their 1-year old son.  In Mr. Heaston's spare time, he enjoys spending time with family, reading, teaching, and traveling.  

Steve McCullough, has spent a total of 33 years at Munford High School—from 1992 to the present and from 1974 – 1984.  His 30 years of educating young people in Tipton County also included a stint at Drummonds Elementary.  Mr. McCullough’s duties include athletics, attendance, and discipline.  He currently holds a Master of Arts degree in Education from the University of Memphis and has been married to his wife, Elaine, for the last 22 years.  Mr. McCullough has a son, John Andrew, age 27, and a stepson, Seth Tate McGill, age 25.

Courtney Fee is in her 5th year at Munford High School and in her first year of K12 administration.  Prior to her arrival, Ms. Fee spent 13 years at Christian Brothers University, 9 of those years in administration.  She served the last 4 years at CBU as the Dean of Admission, a position that enabled her to study various trends regarding high school and college-bound students.  Ms. Fee earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Marketing from Christian Brothers University and a Master of Science degree in Curriculum and Instructional Leadership from the University of Memphis.  Ms Fee recently completed the Leadership Scholars Program, a leadership training program for aspiring school administrators, and is currently working on a doctoral degree in Leadership and Policy Studies at the University of Memphis.  Ms. Fee is single.
