Tipton County Schools is pleased to announce an exciting new offering called K12 Planet, located at www.k12planet.com.  Parents of MHS students will now have the ability to view their student's school information including attendance, report cards, progress reports, and grades.  In order to use K12 Planet, parents will access a secure web site on the Internet and login with a unique and secure username and password.  At this time, parents only have access to their own children's information.  K12 Planet is a private website for our district and only people inside the district are authorized to "enter" K12 Planet.  Even then, each and every single authorization has to be applied for individually--to ensure total privacy protection.  If you are interested in learning more about K12 Planet, please visit the website at www.k12planet.com.  

If your child attends Munford High School, you can obtain a username and password for K12 Planet after September 10, 2007 (see directions below).  We are planning on offering group training sessions during Parent-Teacher Conferences on October 25 and October 30.  We also offer sessions for individuals and groups by appointment.  Call 837.5702 or email cfee@tipton-county.com or tspeight@tipton-county.com for more information.  Thanks for your patience as we get the Planet up and running!

How to Sign Up 

1.  Read and sign the K12 Planet Verifiable Consent Form for Parents.  The form is available here, or in the main office of MHS.  This is the form you will need to bring to MHS for verification.  

2.  Read the K12 Planet Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use documents.  These forms are available here, or in the main office of MHS.  

3.  Return the Verifiable Consent Form for parents to the school and pick up your account and login information in the main office.  A photo ID is required for all accounts.  You must be a custodial parent, biological parent, or legal guardian in order to obtain account information.  No account information will be mailed or sent home with students.  

4.  If you elect to pick up account information without participating in a training session, follow the directions on the K12 Planet Guide for Parents and the K12 Planet Quick Tour for Parents.
