CougarVision is a production of the Theater Arts III class at Munford High School. This class is made up of a staff of 19 Seniors and 4 Juniors. Activities include live morning announcements and a weekly show. Members are always filming school activities and thinking of ideas for future shows.
The CougarVision class meets every other day for 90 minutes. This is just a small amount of
the time that the members actually put in, however. Students give up their study halls and also stay after school in order to film and edit footage for upcoming shows. Members are dedicated and must sacrifice their own time for the good of the cause.
CougarVision is not only fun and exciting for its members, but is a great learning experience. Some of the things the staff members learn are: operating video cameras, editing on linear, as well as digital, editing equipment, and acting. They also learn to be creative and to use their imaginations in order to please their audience.
The current teacher of CougarVision is Mrs. Roy. She works very hard to guide our enthusiastic group in the way of producing quality
shows.CV is her "baby." She loves watching something great emerge from
confusion!
