Tipton County is a participant in the e4TN online learning initiative.  The state initiative was launched to develop meaningful and interactive curriculum for online courses. In the Spring of 2010, we will pilot the following HIGH SCHOOL courses. The following courses carry no fee, except for a $50 security deposit that is refundable upon successful completion of the course.

BTP (Beta Test Pilot) Courses

Algebra I
Algebra II
Computer Literacy
English 10
Personal Finance (1/2)
Physical World Concepts
Psychology
US History

In the Spring of 2010, several courses will move out of the "beta testing phase" into Phase II. These courses will carry a fee. Full credit courses will cost $300 and half credit courses will cost $175. There will not be a security deposit with these courses.

8th grade students enrolled in MIDDLE SCHOOLS may participate in the program. The following courses will be available to 8th grade students:

French I
French II
Innovations and Inventions*
Physical Science
Spanish I
Spanish II
World History

*Innovations and Inventions does NOT carry a high school credit; only middle school credit.
