  • Try not to upset the child before the test, such as introducing family conflicts.


  • Make sure your child gets a good nights sleep, at least 8 to 9 hours.


  • Get your child off to a good start with a good breakfast.

  • See that your child attends school on the scheduled test days.


  • Make sure your child arrives at school on time and is rested.


  • Do not cause your child unnecessary stress regarding the test.  Be positive!


  • Finally, do not send your child to school if true illness is apparent.
