PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN

Professional Development Plan (Steps or Strategies) to Support Action Steps (if applicable): [from 4, 4a, 4b, & 4c]

1.  Provide health screenings to all staff throughout the year including blood pressure, glucose and cholesterol screenings.

2.  Counsel staff regarding screening outcomes and provide written material regarding cholesterol, diabetes, etc.

3.  Provide staff development for physical education teachers through Tennessee Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance.

4.  Provide staff development for child abuse reporting.

1.  Provide blood pressure, cholesterol, and glucose screenings to community members through project COPE.
