Technology Terms

Hello. You have reached the Technology Term's web page. The links below open a list of technology terms that students could hear from time to time in what tech gurus often called Techno Lingo. How do you know if you have connected your DSL Modem using an Ethernet cable correctly? Do you have a Universal Serial Bus port on your computer? How big is your flash drive? Are hard disks stored into a hard drive? Do you know what I am referring to without looking at the definitions?

You might or might not, depending on how techy you are in the tech talk. The hyper links below will take you to weekly technology terms I will go over with the students, illustrating the concept. Which would you rather have? Broadband or Dial up? Do these sound familiar?

The objective is to have the students recognize tech terms when they get out on their own and start looking for their first computers to buy. Students might be interested in the technology field and want to know more terms. This is where I will start the students...getting to know some terms.
