Hello. Welcome to Mr. Mooney'sRules, Rewards, and Consequences. Below, you will see the rules, rewards, and consequences I will implement this term. It is highly recommended that the students adhere to these rules in order to have a productive learning experience while in computer skills class.

Classroom Rules:

1. Raise their hand to receive permission to speak.
2. Keep all food (candy, gum, snack cart foods) and drinks out of sight or outside this computer classroom.
3. Remain in his or her assigned seat unless told otherwise.
4. Keep hands, feet, objects, and negative words to themselves.
5. Follow the rules set forth within the Tipton County School Student Handbook.

 

Rewards:

Receive free computer time.
Receive a free "ticket" to the computer classroom for free time before school starts.
Receive an opportunity to drop a lowest grade (including a test grade).

 

Consequences:

1. Receive one warning. (Documented)
2. Be removed from their computer into a desk.

3. Receive a parent note to go home and get signed.
4. Expect a phone call home to parent.
5. Receive a disciplinary referral to an administrator

Procedures:

Prior to entering the classroom, students will line up outside the door, off the wall, and behind the green tape.

When seated, students will exit one row at a time when the bell rings.

Students will be shown how to log in to their student accounts to begin using their account. What comes with the account:
a) one 8 Megabyte network storage drive for saving files, G:
b) access to a file server drive, H:

Students should use their storage space wisely when saving files needed for assignments.

When students borrow supplies (pencils, pens, etc.), please return them to their owner before leaving the room. The computer lab printer will only be used to print in class assignments as instructed by the teacher.

All students must log off their accounts before leaving the computer lab for the day.
