Mrs. Gangaware is the newest addition to the administrative team.
"I serve as assistant principal and curriculum coordinator. I grew up in Covington, graduated from Covington High School, and after earning my teaching license, I built my career in education in Tipton County.
Over the past 25 years, I have taught 5th through 8th grade math, science, social studies, reading, English, writing, health, and computer technology - but not all at the same time! I taught science and social studies for the majority of my career and am known for my work with the CMS Science Club, recycling, and taking students to places to observe science, like Sea World, Disney World, and many local attractions.
As part of CMS's administrative team, I share in the responsibilities of ensuring that our students receive a high quality education in a safe and orderly environment that is conducive to learning. I went into administration after serving as our school's Federal Schoolwide Programs Coordinator. I am instrumental in scheduling, testing, implementing curriculum, and evaluating and improving general school performance. |
