Mrs. Sara Gangaware

Mrs. Gangaware is one of Crestview Middle's assistant principals and also serves as curriculum coordinator. She grew up in Covington, graduated from Covington High School, earned a Master's degree plus, and built a career in education in Tipton County schools.

Over the past 28 years, Mrs. Gangaware has taught 5th through 8th grade math, science, social studies, reading, English, writing, health, and computer technology - but not all at the same time! The majority of her career has been with the CMS Science Club, recycling, and taking students places to observe science - like Sea World, Disney World, and many local attractions.

As part of CMS's administrative team, she shares in the responsibilities of ensuring that students receive a high quality education in a safe and orderly environment that is conducive to learning.

Mrs. Gangaware says, "I went into administration after serving as our school's Federal Schoolwide Programs Coordinator. I am instrumental in scheduling, testing, implementing curriculum, and evaluating and improving general school performance. I love Crestview Middle School!"
