Mrs. Barber began
her educational career in elementary education teaching
at Horn Lake Elementary in Horn Lake, MS. She also taught
in Shelby County Schools, Haywood County Schools and Covington
City Schools. Her first administrative job with Tipton County
was as assistant principal at Munford High School.
Both
of Mrs. Barber’s children graduated from Covington
High School. It is a great opportunity to be able to come
to CHS and lead the students to the academic excellence
needed to be competitive when they move to the next phase
of life. Our vision for Covington High School is to meet
or exceed every academic, athletic, or artistic endeavor
for every student so that they build self confidence to
be successful when they graduate.
