CLASSROOM RULES

 

Be on time for class. Students should be seated before the bell rings. If you are not in your assigned seat when the bell rings, you will be given a tardy.

Be prepared for class.  Obey all school rules.

Show respect for other class members and the teacher at all times.

No talking unless you are given permission. Raise your hand and wait until the teacher calls on you.

Do not bring agendas to teacher unless she asks for them.

Push seats to tables when you leave.

Do not ask to use the restroom in front of class. Ask the teacher in private. No one is allowed to go to the restroom unless it is an emergency.

Do not make negative comments about another student. If you have a problem with another student, talk to the teacher in private.

Everyone remains in assigned seats unless teacher tells you to move to another seat. No one gets up before the bell rings.

No gum chewing.

No talking during announcements.

Do not put your feet in the chairs or sit on the tables.

No one goes into the kitchen without permission.

 

 

If the rules are not obeyed, the student will be assigned one or more of the following:

Warning

Write offs

Parent conference

Disciplinary report (sent to the office)

GOALS

 

1.      Provide a safe environment for learning.

2.      Provide a curriculum that enhances life skills and marketable skills upon completion.

4.      Promote leadership roles and responsibility through membership in FCCLA.

5.      Stimulate the learning process through competitive events.

6.      Involve parents in the learning process through conference and FCCLA.

7.      Promote the cooperative learning process through the use of peer mentors and group leaders.

8.      Provide a foundation for post-secondary education.

9.      Encourage willingness of individuals to work together for the benefits of the group as a whole.

10.  Establish favorable public relations through community projects.
