Grading System:

Grading Scale and Grading Criteria (Per Nine Weeks):

94 to 100 points = A	Class Participation	10%
85 to 93 points = B	Class Assignments	10%
75 to 84 points = C	Quizzes	10%
70 to 74 points = D	Homework Assignments	10%
	Portfolio	10%
	Chapter Tests	20%
	Notebook Test Grade	10%
	Nine Weeks Test (Abacus)	20%
	Tests	50%
	Total Nine Week Grade	100%

Each assignment grade encompasses the following:

• Completing all assigned work

• completing the work in pencil (use of pen will be a deduction)

• completing on or before due date (turning in work late will be a 5 point deduction for each day up to a maximum of a 30 point deduction if the paper is eventually turned in)
