I am originally from Covington, TN. I graduated from Covington High School in 1997 and headed to UT Knoxville. (GO VOLS!) In 2001, I graduated from UT with a Bachelor of Arts degree in speech language pathology. I then went on to University of Memphis and received my Master of Arts in special education.

This is my ninth year teaching and my eighth year at Brighton High School. I teach English III and creative writing. I am the co-yearbook advisor, and I hope you are all looking forward to a wonderful 2009-2010 yearbook!  I enjoy working with our football team as the Brighton Buddies sponsor.  I also serve on the school’s public relations committee.
