I am originally from Covington, TN. I graduated from Covington High School in 1997 and headed to UT Knoxville. (GO VOLS!) In 2001, I graduated from UT with a Bachelor of Arts degree in speech language pathology. I then went on to University of Memphis and received my Master of Arts in special education.
This is my tenth year teaching, my ninth year at Brighton High School, and my first time to say it's my tenth year to do anything! I teach English III and creative writing. I am the co-yearbook advisor, and I hope you are all looking forward to a wonderful 2010-2011 yearbook! I enjoy working with our football team as the Brighton Buddies sponsor. I also serve on the school’s public relations committee.
I am the photo advisor for the school yearbook. Here are some of MY favorite pictures from the year...so far!
