BHS Football Banquet
February 9, 2008

The banquet to honor the 2007 season was held at BHS on February 9, 2008. Coach Wolfe and Coach Crowson recognized all of the varsity and freshmen teams, and the All Region and All Academic Teams were announced.

Special guest for the evening included the guest speaker for the evening, Bobby Johnson, the head football coach at Vanderbilt University. Also in attendace were Coach Kenny Carter, Vanderbilt's running backs coach, and Stanley Morgan, former stand-out UT Vol and member of the New England Patriots.

Congratulations to the Reigon 7-4A All Region/All Academic Team: First Team All Region-Deundrea Williams and Chris Bradley; Second Team All Region-Corey McCaskill and Garrett Denton. Honorable Mention All Region-Shiler Smith, Terrell Payne, and Cody Whitehorn. All Acadmemic All Region-Ryan Phillips, Justin Cole, and Chris Bradley.

Jeremy Wilson and Willie Henderson received a memorial scholarship from Preston and Laura Porch, and Debe Simonton, president of the football boosters, announced a memorial camp scholarship for three football players in memory of her late son, Harrison Simonton.
