IMPORTANCE OF EDUCATION

Shockingly, less than twenty years ago, forty percent of adults over the age of twenty-five in Tipton County, Tennessee were illiterate.  Is education the single most important factor in the development of a country?  Absolutely!  Although you may still be successful without a full education, having a solid background of education will confirm a prosperous future.  Let’s look at the facts.

First, let’s discuss heath.  A successful country definitely requires strong, healthy citizens.  Education plays an important role in improving medicine and other medical technology.  Scholars discover new methods of preventing diseases everyday.  Without medical technology, a simply virus could “wipeout” thousands of people.  A good education results in a healthy environment.

Next, let’s focus our attention on human resources.  The better the education, the better the human resources people have.  More intelligent people will definitely find better, cheaper ways to supply humans with what they need.  Cheaper goods yield a richer country.  All citizens will benefit from educated decisions.

Last but not least, let’s consider the environment.  Well-educated scholars make environmentally-friendly decisions.  Education proves to make the environment safe.

To sum it up, I definitely agree that education is the most important factor in the development of a country.  A proper education will build a strong country by improving overall health and human resources.  Education also aids in finding ways to improve the environment.  Shockingly, 89 out of 100 of the poorest countries in the world have to pay for education.  It is relevant that education is definitely the building block of a prosperous country.
