BRIGHTON BUDDIES

Brighton Buddies is a program that began in 2004 between the Brighton High School football program and the Brighton Elementary School kindergarten classes. This year, for the first time, Brighton Buddies has expanded to include both kindergarten and first grade. During the football season, junior and senior players go to Brighton Elementary to work and play with the kindergarteners and first graders. They read stories, help with math problems, and do arts and crafts. Football players also work talk with the students about teamwork, cooperation, safety, and playing fair.

2007 BRIGHTON BUDDIES

Brighton Buddy Night was held August 31, 2007 when the Cardinals played Treadwell. BES students were introduced with their Brighton Buddies, and then they did the Toody-Ta and cheered with the cheerleaders. The students also made a special run-through sign for the night! Click to see pictures of
