Burlison’s Autobiography
|
I was born and reared
in Biloxi, Mississippi, where I graduated from Biloxi High School. I earned
a bachelor’s degree in Economics and International Business, and a Master of
Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Southern Mississippi.
After college, I moved to Memphis and established a career in corporate
finance. In 2005, I decided to pursue
my passion – education. I started
teaching at Brighton High School that same year. I completed the Teacher Education Program
at Union University where I received endorsements in Economics, Business
Education, and Business Technology. In
addition, I received certification in Personal Finance. I am married to
John-Paul, and have two beautiful children, Eli and Georgia. My family and I are members of Munford
Presbyterian Church. My hobbies
include reading, working out, shopping, and spending time with family. |
