1.                  Channel of distribution – the path a product takes from producer to final user

 

2.                  Intermediary – middleman

 

3.                  Wholesaler – buy large quantities, store them, sell them (usually to other businesses)

 

4.                  Retailer – sell goods to the final consumer for personal use

 

5.                  E-commerce or E-tailing -  retailers selling products over the Internet to the customer

 

6.                  E-marketplace – the online shopping location

 

7.                  Physical distribution – comprises all of the activities that help to ensure that the right amount of product is delivered to the right place at the right time

 

8.                  Transportation – moving products from a seller to a buyer

 

9.                  Storage – holding goods until they are sold

 

10.              Invoice – customer bill included with delivered merchandise when filling a PO-based order
