It
is my privilege to have you as a student in my class. I look forward to working with you as well as
working with your parents/guardians. I
use an assertive discipline plan in my classroom to provide a more effective
learning environment. One of my goals is
to help you become more prepared for college and/or the workforce, so I look
for employability skills in the day to day activities. The discipline plan and the employability skills guideline will be in effect from the
first day until the last day you are in my classroom.
Classroom Rules:
- Be in class and seated
before the tardy bell rings.
- Follow directions the
first time they are given.
- Raise your hand for
permission to speak.
- Clean up after
yourself properly.
- Keep hands, feet and
all belongings to yourself.

Marketing I Objectives
- The student will
understand the relevance of the marketing foundations and how they impact
all individuals, professions and entities.
- The student will gain
an understanding of economic concepts and principles in a global economy.
- The student will
understand the nature and scope of selling.
- The student will
analyze promotion as it relates to the marketing mix.
- The student will
examine the nature and scope of product/service management.
- The student will
evaluate strategies utilized in determining and adjusting prices to
maximize return and ensure customer satisfaction.
- The student will
analyze the importance of distribution in marketing and management.
- The student will develop
human resource skills to be used in preparing for a marketing career.
- The student will apply
organizational and leadership skills.
- The student will
understand the importance of subject matter integration in the area of
marketing.
