Working as a team, we see our mission as ensuring that our students develop their full potential, so as lifelong learners they are prepared for the next level and can both contribute to and benefit from society.

 

 

 

Library Policies

 

 

 

Library Hours are Monday-Friday:  7:25 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

 

All students must have their agenda signed by their teacher to enter the library.

 

Students using the Internet in the library MUST have their agenda signed by their teacher and by an administrator.  If these two signatures are not obtained, the student will be signed back to their class by the librarian.

 

Student information MUST be in the computer in order to check out books.

 

All books EXCEPT reference books may be checked out for two weeks.  Each day books are late will result in a .10 per day charge.  Students may check out three books at a time.

 

 

 

Materials

 

The BHS Library meets the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Standards.

 

Internet Access is available at BHS in addition to information through CD Rom’s, DVD’s, and a large selection of books.

 

An Electronic periodical service is available at BHS.

 

BHS Library also has an automated circulation system with electronic catalogs.

 

 

 

Internet Policy

 

Each student and the parents MUST sign an Acceptable Use Policy Agreement in order to use the Internet at school.

 

All Faculty and Staff must also sign an Acceptable Use Policy Agreement.
