            In chapters two and three we will explore the theory and applications of specific families of

functions.  These functions include polynomial, power, rational, exponential, logistic, and logarithmic

functions.

All missed tests and quizzes are to be made up by the date of the following test or a grade of 0 will be given.  One low quiz and one low homework grade will be dropped at the end of the nine weeks.  Homework assignments may be made up in after school tutoring.  Students with failing grades will be assigned to mandatory after school tutoring. 

 

The chapter project on page 274 is an optional assignment that may be done for extra credit.  It counts as a 50-point test grade and is due on the last Monday before the semester exams begin at the beginning of your class.
