CLASSROOM INFO Welcome, students and parents!
I grew up in W.Va. and graduated from W.Va. University with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education in Chemistry and Science.  I got married soon after graduating from college, moved away from W.Va., and lived in Harrisonburg, VA for two years, Atlanta, GA  for six years, and now in TN for 20 years.  My husband and I live in Munford and have two daughters, Melody and Michelle, both in college at UT Knoxville, so we’ve become a family of Vols fans.  After moving to Tennessee, I decided to go back to school and take the classes I needed to be licensed to teach math, in addition to the sciences.  Now I am back in school again working on a Masters in Math with an emphasis on teaching.  I have been teaching for 16 years now.  During that time I have had the opportunity to teach many different math and science classes to grades 7 through 12, and here at Brighton High School am teaching two of my favorites—precalculus and physics! I am excited about being at Brighton High School.  I have already met many wonderful students, parents, faculty and staff, and am looking forward to meeting and getting to know many more!
