I received my Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Maryland (Fear the Turtle!!) and I’m currently working on my Masters of Science in Education from UT Martin. My husband Rick and I have 3 wonderful children and 1 beautiful granddaughter. Our oldest daughter, our son in law, and our son are currently serving in the US Air Force. Our youngest daughter is a student at Brighton Elementary. I enjoy sports (especially football, baseball, and swimming), yoga, reading, philosophy, and learning/trying new things. Before I realized I wanted to be a teacher, I was a marine mammal trainer intern at the National Aquarium in Baltimore which I left to become a licensed customs house broker in the port of Baltimore. Shortly after we moved to Tennessee I started substitute teaching and realized that teaching was what I really wanted to do. I thoroughly enjoy being at Brighton High and I look forward to many happy years here. GO CARDINALS!!
