Solving equations and
inequalities Welcome back for the start
of the 2nd semester. I look forward to a great 2nd half
of the school year. In Biology: we will begin
discussing cell division and genetics in preparation for the EOC. In Algebra Lab: we will
continue to go over skills learned in class in preparation for the EOC. A new set of classroom
rules will be handed out when the students get back. Disciplinary action will
be taken if these rules are not followed. If you need help with your
study skills or just need someone to talk to, please come to Cardinal
Mentoring. We meet Mondays and Wednesdays after school until 4pm in room 308.
We have snacks, a pizza party or 2, and even a field trip planned!! Come and
join us!! |
My husband Rick and I have 3 wonderful
children and 2 beautiful grandchildren. Our oldest daughter, our son in law,
and our son are currently serving in the US Air Force. Our youngest daughter
is a student at Brighton Elementary. I enjoy sports (especially football,
baseball, and swimming), yoga, reading, philosophy, and learning/trying new
things. Before I realized I wanted to be a teacher, I was a marine mammal
trainer intern at the National Aquarium in Baltimore which I left to become a
licensed customs house broker in the port of Baltimore. Shortly after we
moved to Tennessee I started substitute teaching and realized that teaching
was what I really wanted to do. I thoroughly enjoy being at Brighton High and
I look forward to many happy years here. GO CARDINALS!! |
