New EOC Review part 1 New EOC Review part 2 Mini Gateway Review Calculators An affordable option is the TI 34 which runs about $10. This calculator is simple to use and great for fractions. A good graphing calculator is the TI 82 which is around $100. I have a few calculators that are available that students can borrow but I do not have enough for all of my students.
Thank you for the opportunity to partner with you and your child during his or her education experience. Please remember EOC tests are a very important part of the high school experience. We will practice for the test on a continual basis through out the year.
CLASSROOM INFO:
Rules
Be on time. Be prepared (this includes your book, paper and a pencil). Be respectful. No arguing. Follow all school rules listed in the student handbook.
			Consequences:
1. Verbal warning. 2. One on one conference with student. 3. Phone call to parents. 4. Disciplinary referral. **The teacher has the right to by-pass traditional consequences if the situation demands.
Tutoring:
Free tutoring is available for students Monday through Thursday immediately after school. Tutoring may be a mandatory assignment or students may choose to attend on their own. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, tutoring is in my room. Tutoring begins after school until 4:00 p.m.
Public Service Announcement:
Homework is assigned with each new lesson. Homework may be completed during the first 45 minutes of Algebra Lab. Quizzes may be given during the next class after completion of homework, so always be prepared! Tests are given periodically and may come in the middle or at the end of chapter. Additional assignments can be given to strengthen or enrich Algebra skills. The purpose of Algebra Lab is to assist students with their homework from the previous day therefore half of the class is devoted to Algebra homework ONLY. The second half of Lab involves a combination of Accelerated Math, worksheets and additional book assignments.

My husband of seventeen years, Shane, and I reside in Brighton with our three children. We attend Brighton Baptist Church. I have a bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance from Christian Brothers University and a Master's of Arts and Teaching from the University of Memphis.
