Single-click in the Location Bar and type in

Click the Register button and fill in the required information. Use your Novell login name for your username.

Click DONE at the bottom.

If your Username is already taken, try your firstnamelastname
or your firstinitialmiddleinitiallastname. Please do not register with a username that
is not recognizable.
(5)
Click in the Search box and type in a topic that you will be teaching
within the next couple of weeks.
Be sure to click the LogOut button when you are
finished.
INTERMEDIATE LEVEL
(1)
Complete the Beginner Level.
(2)
Search for either a lesson plan, learning activity, or other website
that you will be able to use with your class(es) within the next couple of weeks.
(3)
Print the lesson/activity/website, and put it in the Technology
Portfolio section of your Tech Notebook.
(4)
Continue searching!
Be sure to click the LogOut button when you are finished.
WIZARD LEVEL
(1)
Complete the Beginner and Intermediate Levels.
(2)
Using the list of Lesson
Plan Sites, search for the best possible usable lesson plan that you can
find for a topic that you will be teaching during September.

Access NetTrekker (http://www.nettrekker.com) , login, and search to make sure that the lesson is not
already one listed on the site. The
easiest way to check is to type the topic in the Search box; then click the tab
that narrows the search results to the type of site you located (lesson plan,
learning activity, etc.)

Check the listing for the site that you located.

If the site is not listed in
NetTrekker, click Suggestions
at the bottom of the NetTrekker page.

Fill out the required blanks. Be sure to
copy/paste the URL (website address) in the appropriate blank; do not try
typing it in.

If NetTrekker adds
your site, your name will be listed twice in the drawing at the end of the
semester. If you submit your OWN
lesson plan / learning activity to NetTrekker and it
is accepted, your name will be listed three times at the end of the semester in
the drawing for the computers.
