I have been lucky to be in the teaching profession for over 13 years. I received my degree from Memphis State University and have lived around the Memphis area all of my life. I chose teaching; I didn't settle for it. In my opinion, there is no greater happiness than watching young people mature into respectful, educated adults.

I have been teaching Freshmen English for my nine years here at BHS. Freshmen Rule! There's a reason why I teach them. They are vibrant, energetic little sponges waiting to absorb all of the information I can give to them. When I am around young teens, they keep my spirit alive and kicking!
