From Mrs. Rankin:

     Growing up on a row crop and commercial produce farm in Ripley, TN, choosing agriculture as a career was obvious.  I graduated from Ripley High School in 1992.  I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture in 1995 and a Master of Science in Agricultural Operations Management in 2005, both from the University of Tennessee at Martin.  After various jobs in the agribusiness sector, I began my employment as a Tipton County Adult Agriculture Extension Agent with the University of Tennessee Extension in May of 2002.  This career choice led me to Brighton High School.
      My husband, Todd (who also choose a career in agriculture), and I have a three year old son and a 10 month daughter.  My faith and family are extremely important to me.  I spend my weekends singing at my church, playing with my children and watching the UT Volunteers on Saturdays in the fall.  
     I am so thankful to be teaching Vocational Agriculture at Brighton High School.  I love our students, especially my FFA members!!!  (BLUE JACKETS, GOLD STANDARDS)
