From Mrs. Moffitt:

I am originally from Hernando, Mississippi, but my family moved to Bells, TN, when I was in second grade. I graduated from Crockett County High School in 1989. I attended UT Martin where I received my Bachelor of Science in Education with a concentration in Social Sciences in 1993.

I began my career with an interim position teaching US History at Houston High School. The following school year I began teaching at Munford High in the Social Studies Department. While teaching at MHS, I attended the University of Memphis. In 2000, I received my Master of Science in Counseling and Personnel Services with a concentration in School Counseling. I spent my last three years at MHS as the 9th grade counselor.

During my stay away from Tipton County I was a stay-at-home mom for two years, and then served as a part-time counselor at Immaculate Conception Cathedral School and Memphis Catholic Middle/High School.

My husband, Chris, and I have been married since 1994. We have one beautiful daughter who is in kindergarten at Briarcrest Christian School. We live in Mid-town Memphis and attend Lindenwood Christian Church. I am very excited about being the new 11th grade counselor at Brighton High School.
