From Mrs. Kelly:

This is my tenth year at BHS. When I came to BHS, I was given the opportunity to create the Broadcasting program. Since television production is one of my favorite things, I have enjoyed watching the program develop over the years. I also enjoy teaching Spanish and watching the students develop new skills and get a sense of accomplishment.

I am originally from a suburb of Chicago. I went to Illinois State in Normal, Illinois and studied Mass Communication Education and Spanish. I got married to Tim Kelly, moved to Central Illinois, and worked at a television station before moving to Tennessee. Both of my children attend the University of Memphis. Moving to Tennessee has provided the best of both worlds for us—my husband can fish and I can shop- what more could you ask for?

I also enjoy watching soaps, reading and walking.
