From Mr. Greer:

This year is my seventh year of teaching. I am originally from DeSoto, Missouri, which is located approximately 40 miles south of St. Louis, MO. My wife’s name is Jackie and we have been married for 33 years. She teaches at Munford Middle School. We have two children who are now adults and they have both graduated with their college degrees.

I graduated from Missouri Baptist College located in St. Louis with my degree in Business. I have recently completed my Masters in Education from the University of Memphis. My hobbies include golf, riding my bike, taking long walks, and watching all sports.

Before coming to teach at Brighton High School I came from the corporate environment where I managed a sales organization of about 105 people in seven states. I worked for Lance Inc., a leading Snack Food Company with sales over 500 million dollars per year. I worked for Lance for 29 years and began my career on a route in downtown St. Louis MO. Later in my career I was transferred to various cities throughout the United States, such as Denver CO, Charlotte NC, Nashville TN, Houston TX, and Memphis TN.

I believe my real world experiences will help me to relate to the students why math is an integral part of their education and how it can help them to be productive citizens in our community.
