Mrs. Karen Paqueo- Librarian

A Word about the Library: The Brighton Elementary School library serves students in grades Pre-Kindergarten through fifth grades.  Presently our library contains over 16,000 books. All parents are encouraged to visit the library anytime they can. We are in the process of ordering new books to add to our library.

Updated Library Donations & Information

Mrs. Karen would like to thank all the parents, grandparents, and friends that have sent in Campbell’s Labels, Boxtops for Education, and Tyson’s A+ Labels to the library last year. By sending in all of the above labels, we have been able collect $1720.50 with our Boxtops for Education. All of the money goes to buy books and other library related materials. We are accumulating Campbell’s Soup Labels now for future use. We also collected $144.00 from the Tyson’s Food Labels. Please continue to collect both labels and Boxtops. Thanks you so much for all of your help and contributions to our school.

Campbell Soup Labels / General Mills Food Labels / Tyson’s A+ Labels

Watch your grocery stores for extra bonus certificates for Campbell’s and Boxtops for Education.
Please save your Campbell Soup, General Mills, and Tyson’s A+ food labels for our library.  Mrs. Paqueo receives funds for the library for each label she collects from these companies.  The money
is then used to purchase and replace books.  As a token of her appreciation, Mrs. Paqueo
provides the students with a bookmark for each label they bring in.

Book Donations

B.E.S. would like to encourage you to donate a children's book
to our library in honor of or in memory of a loved one.  Once the book is received,
an acknowledgment will be permanently placed inside the book cover.  This is a great
way to help out your child's school!  Please feel free to drop by and speak with Mrs.
Paqueo concerning the book titles which are needed at this time.

Rules for Checking Out Books in the Library

The students must return their books to the library each week or renew them for an additional week. If a book is lost or damaged the student must pay a replacement price for the book. If it is found and returned before I order a new book, your money will be refunded to you.
