New Student Registration Information

Below is a list of the items that you will need to enroll

your child in Brighton Elementary.

Are you enrolling from within Tennessee?

· Withdrawal form or last report card from previous school

· 2 Proofs of residence

Are you enrolling from outside of Tennessee?

· Immunization record transferred to a Tennessee Green Card

· Withdrawal form or last report card from previous school

· 2 Proofs of residence

Are you enrolling from a private school?

· Withdrawal form or last report card from previous school

· 2 Proofs of residence

· BES will test your student to determine grade placement

What are acceptable “proofs of residence?”

· Property tax record

· Mortgage document or property deed

· Apartment or home lease

· Current utility bill (water, gas, electric)

· Automobile registration

· Voter registration

Special Note…

If the student’s name is different from the parent’s, a copy of marriage license,

birth certificate, or custody papers will be required.
