Hello!  My name is Jen Ford.  I am a Tipton County native.  I graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Learning K-8.  I obtained a Master’s degree from Cumberland University in Arts in Education.  I am married and have a precious daughter.  I also have a pet dog named Pickles.  This will be my sixth year to teach Kindergarten.  I am looking forward to a great upcoming year!  Please make sure you have read my first Newsletter packet.  If you have any questions, please email me at JFord@tipton-county.com

7:45 – 8:10 roll call and  table work

8:10-8:55- morning meeting, story, and phonemic awareness activity

8:55- 9:05- restroom break

9:05-9:50- specials

9:50-10:00- restroom break

10:00- 11:00- reading groups

11:00 11:25- math

11:25-11:50- recess

11:50-11:55-restroom

11:55-12:20-lunch

12:20-12:30- restroom break

12:30- 1:30- nap time

1:30-2:30- centers

 

FYI

Your child needs a snack daily.

Have your child wear tennis shoes on p.e. days.
