I am a native from Tipton County. I graduated from Brighton High School in 2001. I received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education K-6 from Crichton College in 2007. I received a Master of Administration from Bethel College in May of 2009! My husband, Jeff, and I live here in Brighton with our two pooches, Eadie and Lewie.

 

I LOVE Austin Peay Elementary!!! This is my third year teaching First Grade.  It’s truly a blessing to be able to fulfill my passion with children! We are “Fully Responsible Organized and Growing” First Graders!!!

Math Meeting: 8:05-8:25

Snack/Bathroom Break: 8:25-8:35

Reading Groups: 8:35-9:55

Special: 9:55-10:40 (P.E., Art, Music, Computer, or Library)

Grammar (Tue. & Thru.) /Phonics (Mon. Wed. Fri.): 10:40-11:10

Wash Up for Lunch and Move to Cafe: 11:10-11:15

Lunch: 11:15-11:40

Bathroom Break: 11:40-11:45

Read to Self: 11:45-12:00

Math Groups: 12:00-1:00

Science: 1:00-1:30

Recess: 1:30-2:00

Shared Reading: 2:00-2:25

Pack-Up: 2:25-2:35

Ms. Hannah’s Weekly Note

 

 

I have received about 5 boxes of Kleenex Tissue. If you have sent in some, Thank You So much!! However, we are in need of more!! Many students are suffering of snotty noses. So, we need more tissue to stay stocked up!! The Easter Egg Hunt has been set for March 26th. It will be in the afternoon. A note is on its way!! Also, If you are planning to order a classroom book, the money is due on March 19th. We will ship the product off on March 20th!!! All the students are so happy and excited to making this special book. Thank you again for working so hard at home with your child. Keep in mind that the Think Link test is coming up in April. If you are not reading each night with your child, you need to start!!!! This will help them become better readers!! Thank you for all you do!
