Each
week we will honor one student as our “STAR” of the week. The STAR student of the week will act as my
assistant. I ask that the STAR of the
week bring an item each day to share with the class. Students really enjoy learning about each
other this way.
Monday: bring a poster that includes
pictures to share.
Tuesday: Estimation Jar: fill jar with items, write the number of items
on a
piece of paper, and remember to keep it secret.
Wednesday: bring a stuffed animal to school. NO LIVE ANIMALS. The
item
must fit in the backpack.
Thursday: Mystery Box: place item in
mystery box, write 3 clues, and
remember
to keep it secret.
Friday: bring a class snack. Please bring enough for 20 students.
STAR student of the week will begin
send home a note on Friday with the next STAR of the week. This information will also be on the
newsletter.
