Registration is free and Crestview Middle has been added as a school. This is a great tool for use with your projectors!
Tools for Understanding of ToFU for short, is composed of three strands: Math Concepts, Integrated Lessons, and Journaling. In math concepts, the lessons are designed to extend students' mathematical undersatnding through visualization and the application of math to everyday settings.ToFU is designed to supplement a good math curriculum and the use of spreedsheets and calculators removes much of the computational difficulty that can hamper student understanding.

Figure This! is a great place for middle schoolers and their families to work together on math exercises. The challenges are designed to be done outside of school a family setting. The site provides enough challenges and extension activities to keep the family busy for two or more years!
