* READING Read a book and write a short (one page) report. Share this with the class. Book report forms may be used. They are provided by the computers.
* LANGUAGE ARTS Interview someone other than a classmate. Use the information on page 11 in our English Book to ask your questions. Report the information you learn to the class. Ask at least 10 questions.
* MATH Complete the extra problems located at the end of each chapter. Turn it in for an extra credit grade.
* SCIENCE Demonstrate an experiment before the class. Some examples of experiments are at the beginning of each chapter in the Science Book.
* SOCIAL STUDIES Write a one page biography. Use at least two resources to learn about this real-life person. Your Social Studies book can count as one resource. Other resources may be the internet, a book, newspaper, etc…
* ANY SUBJECT Write a 5 sentence paragraph about the things that you have learned in a subject and I’ll give you extra credit in that subject. Use the form in our classroom. Be sure to put a full heading on the page and put the completed page in the basket by my desk. Your paper should look like this…. Name # Date Subject Extra Credit Paragraph I know some facts about (the subject you are writing about for the points). To begin with, (one thing you have learned). Another is, (one thing you have learned). Also, (one more thing you have learned). To conclude, I know some facts about (repeat the subject you are writing about). |
